Starting

I wanted a place where I could babble about the random things in my life. Sometimes it is nothingness, too often it feels like nothingness, but none the less it is my life and here I will ramble and talk and do all those sort of things which bring us through our lives.

I am an almost 24 year old house wife and mother of an 11 (almost 12) month old son. Some days I feel like all I do is cook and clean. But that isn't true. I blog. I have a short (thought growing) list of blogs that I post on about all the things that I have to say, neatly categorized. I also work on our website. Which is slowly growing into something more. It is still in the infantile seed stage, and needs a lot more work to end up where we would like to see it but one day at a time. Oh and my handicapped mother lives with us in our two bedroom apartment.

Recently we "moved" from Wisconsin to Texas. I don't know that I can really call it moved. My husband has been down here staying with his father for a few months now, and my son, mother, and myself have finally joined him. Moved. Well we took the bus. And some of our stuff came down via the USPS and FedEx. Some of our stuff being a few boxes full (and a ton of boxes of my mom's stuff). Some of our stuff didn't survive FedEx who is apparently not very careful with the stuff that they are shipping. Many of our boxes were crushed, torn, ripped, and just generally beat all to hell. Several glass and plastic pieces didn't survive.

So, we decided to start over. Which would have been loads easier without my mom, who of course needed about four times the boxes that we needed, at about four times the cost. Which we are picking up because she has no income. Then we bought a washer and dryer, and a bed. Which is my mom's. Recently we have purchased a table and chairs. We lack any sort of living room furniture, bedroom furniture, office furniture, and many of the kitchen convinces. But it doesn't matter because we owe FedEx more then we can pay them for a few months. In short, we can't afford to get more furniture.

Which is a great way to end this first ramble since my neck is killing me. After all I am sitting on the floor while typing this and hoping that I can make it through to something better in life.

Oh, and you should check out our website if you have a few minutes, there is a lot of neat stuff going on there, and more to come.
