Sleeping In

I certainly have a love of sleeping in. In fact if it was possible I would sleep late into the day and stay up late into the night. I am just one of those people. But that is rarely possible. Marcus usually gets me up at eight or eight thirty, plus there is that hour I am awake from four thirty to five thirty. Anyway, it used to be that once a week or so he would mysteriously sleep in. I wouldn't know it till I had woken up to find it later then eightish. Well I have been asking him to do that for awhile, and he (like all good fifteen month olds) has been ignoring my requests. He would probably have slept in on Sunday, but we forced him to get up. Well, today I awoke (after I had spent the hour up with my hubby) to the sound of the hedge trimmer person. I scrunched up my face and rolled over to discover that it was ten fifteen! I had slept in, and enjoyed it so.

I hope you have a great day as well!

Buzzzzz....What About...

It's the time of year where we need to start looking for holiday offers. We need to have savings on everything that we might be doing (shopping, staying at hotels, flying!, the whole nine yards). How about a cheap flight to Toronto? Or a flight to Montreal that you can afford? What about a flight to Vancouver to spend your Holidays in Canada? After all, life is stressful and getting away will be one way to deal with it. If you have friends or family in Canada, that makes it even better. But you don't have to know anyone to enjoy the great cities of Toronto, Montreal, or Vancouver. Each city has great things to offer visitors and nothing is better then getting cheap flights! You can have all of that with a visit to DialAFlight.

This has been a sponsored post brought to you for your information, check it out, or at least have a great day!

Life or Something Like It

Life is a crazy thing. Each time I think I have it all together, it comes back to bite me in the...

Well, maybe not, but I really am one of those unorganized people that need to get it together in order to proceed into the land of prosperity. After all, I have sleeping, cleaning, cooking, playing with the baby, writing, web mastering, and all of this to go under my belt. It all seems like so much, but who can tell? For someone who isn't organized and who has a tendency to be a "bad" housewife (don't know why, but I would rather play with Marcus then do the dishes!), I have to say, it feels overwhelming.

I have felt like I need more sleep, which has been taking over my schedule plans. This means I haven't been posting here, getting very many PayPerPosts, making very much jewelry or other craft items or the whole nine yards. I have so much I would like to accomplish, but I have to get organized in order for it to work.

I think I need to find an exercise regimen that increases my energy level. We have been talking about adding multivitamins as well, and that might help. Being overweight has really paid it's toll on this one I think.

Well this is life, or something like it anyway...

So, You Wanna Be Somebody

Lets face it, you can be anything you want to be, if you work hard enough and find the right connections. If you choose to be you, at a ordinary job not very many will know your name. If you choose to be you at an extraordinary job, you might get your name out there. Making the break to find a dream in the entertainment biz though isn't one that is a very easy one. It has opened up a lot with shows like American Idol, So You Think You Can Dance, and other reality shows that if you get excepted and if you do well, you can go somewhere. But you are still talking about, what, twenty a season out of thousands? hundreds of thousands?

But where can you turn if you want to break into the model, actor, musician, comedian, or dancer? Here it is, the company with the connections and the events to help you get those connections, Talent Rock. Whether you are a child, teen, or an adult looking for a break, Talent Rock can help you make your connections, and get your break!

Another Weekend Gone

Life moves so fast on the weekend. It's gone already. Of course we had a good weekend this weekend. Marcus' good mood has continued from Friday and even on to today. Hopefully it is a new stretch that will last well into the future. I love it when he is happy.

I finally found him some blocks. We got a set of alpha blocks for ten dollars and a set of building shapes blocks for ten dollars. All in all, 150 blocks for twenty bucks. They occupied him for about twenty minutes (so far this morning). Then he decided to leave for the bedroom.

I must say that he makes me very glad for the automatic saving in Blogger. It is nice that when he accidently navigates me away from here, I can still come back and finish what I started.

This week is one of those crazy ones that I have to work on surviving. Tonight we get rid of Marcus (after dinner). He is spending the night with his grandparents, and aunts and uncles (seven of them). Then tomorrow is my mom's hearing at eight. Wednesday-Friday I am to go over and stay with one of my brother-in-laws. He is ten and will be home alone from seven thirty in the morning till five thirty at night. They thought it would be nice for him to have company part of the time. Friday, I have to drive my father-in-law to the airport. Then I have to pick up my oldest sister-in-law from school. Sunday, need to make sure everyone gets to their corresponding church (okay, one sister-in-law here, one brother-in-law with us). You see, Wednesday most of the family is going to Michigan via train. My father-in-law, Caleb, and Rebekah are staying behind. My father-in-law is joining the family over the weekend, where they will celebrate the marriage of one of their children...The other two are staying behind. Caleb because he gets motion sickness and didn't want to take the trip via train and car from Texas to Michigan. Rebekah because she still has college.

Next Monday I have to take Rebekah to school and pick her up. Then the family arrives back late Monday night.

So, all in all, a busy week. Of course it is my mom's disability hearing that has me on edge...I keep coming across the question, "What if she doesn't get it?" She has no money, we have been paying for her to eat (though food stamps helps), the utilities she uses, her personal care products, her craft products, even her medication. Plus, we are looking forward to her moving out. My husband doesn't think when she is planning on moving out is really soon enough, but it has to wait. She is planning on moving out in January. I think it sounds wonderful. I can't wait. Then I feel bad for wanting it so much. Anyway, life is a roller coaster.

Talk to you later...

What a Big Boy

Trusted Places

We all have our trusted places. You know the kind I am talking about. The place where you always go, because you know you will get a good meal or have a good time. The bar with the great atmosphere, good grub, or great DJ or maybe the club where there is great music and the dancing is always fun. But what happens when you move to a new city or go on vacation? What happens when you are in London and far from home? How are you planning on finding a great London bar?

I happen to have insider information! It isn't because I have been to London (yet) and it isn't because I have a pen pal who lives there, it is because I know where to go on the web to get some of the best trusted places in many great cities! TrustedPlaces.com is full of reviews done by real people for all sorts of places. They have a wide variety of cities and each time I check back their list of cities is growing. Of course this is a website you can have full participation in. You can share all of your great trusted places with others as well as receive great tips!

This has been a sponsored review on a great website. Check it out, and next time you are going on vacation, or have a few minutes to share your favorite restaurants, bars, clubs, and shops, add your two cents to the mix!

The Perfect Nap

I must say that I love those perfect naps. The ones you wake up feeling refreshed and alive from. Where nothing has happened, so you wake up all on your own and you aren't groggy or blah. This was almost one of those naps. I feel the best I have in days, and I am only a little groggy. Of course I didn't wake myself up, I probably would have chosen to do that a half an hour later then when Marcus choose to do that. But then, he seems to be in a good mood too. So, we both had good naps. Now comes one of my dreaded parts of the day, "What's for lunch, mom?" Of course Marcus doesn't use those words and won't start fussing he is hungry for an hour, so I have a few minutes to think about it.

I must say, looking at him, I feel so blessed. He was out of clothes that fit him. He had three outfits that I had to keep washed, and man on those days he was messy...

Well, my mother-in-law never throws anything out. So, she had several boxes of clothes that were boys clothes in this size and I went through them. Now the secret is that I threw a bunch out. You see, normally I am against throwing that kind of thing out, but she has nine kids and some of the stuff really looked like it. But at the same time, Marcus got a ton of new, nice, and cute stuff. So, I feel blessed! He looks cute, is wearing clean clothes, and has plenty. So, when grandma brought him to me...we spilled coffee on him, she says...I say...no biggie, I will dig something else out for him to wear!

The Importance

Insurance of any and all kinds seems unimportant, until you need it. If you never get in an accident then you never have the need for car insurance, or if you never have a reason to use your homeinsurance, then it might feel like a waist of money. But in reality, insurance is a really great thing. We were talking to our insurance agent a few months ago when we were getting renters insurance. There have been several buildings that have had really bad fires in our area apartment complexes over the last couple of years. If something like that were to happen, then it would feel really good to have paid the monthly fees that will make it much easier to start over then if we were left with no possession and no money to replace them and find other housing.

Something even harder to think about is getting life insurance, but facing the facts can make life much easier for the survivors. Life happens and as it does there are times when it ends abruptly. It isn't that we want it to, or that we don't think that it shouldn't. It is often unfair when loved ones leave us and it always feels horrible. But the truth is it, having money there to help make sure other areas of our lives are taken care of is an important thing. Making sure the kids are taken care of and the mortgage (or rent) paid as well as the other bills can make things much easier during and after the grieving process.

I would suggest that if there is an area of your life in which you are lacking insurance of some sort, that you find an agent and look into getting insurance. It is often affordable and in some cases inexpensive, but it can be of so much help in times of need.

This has been a sponsored post and I thank you for listening to what I have to say. Have a great day!

When Life Over Takes You

Lately life has been a little overwhelming. Just a smidgen. Marcus (my almost fifteen month old son) has (or had been rather) fussy, and unhappy the last few days. This isn't really like him. He normally is happy and fun at least most of the time. But it was horrible. Grabbing at you and crying and not wanting up or down. However, today he is in a wonderful mood. Very playful and full of laughter (I love days like today with him). He is fun and I am having fun spending time with him.

Which is good, because I have also been sick the last few days and am still feeling pretty bad, but can live through it with a happy Marcus.

I am getting things in order and figuring out what I need for next months household budget. I am having a hard time budgeting a specific amount for our household needs. Of course last month I went shopping with my mom who kept adding stuff that wasn't on the list and we went over by almost a hundred dollars. But I will get the hang of it!

I am also working very hard on my jewelry and hoping to make money soon. Here is an example of one of my projects. Which you can find at our new Etsy store, though you must know that no one paid me to say that. In fact, I haven't made any money on Etsy yet! You could be my first!

PayPerPost has had it's ups and downs lately. One one hand I had a post rejected because it said that I had a paid post that was one of my real posts (only I was excited and talking about my new store). On the other hand most of the week I haven't had any offers, today I have a few. We will see how that continues to work out. I am hoping to make about seven hundred or more by this time next year from it. We will see if I can do that well.

Well, that's it for now, I think I am going to take a nap with the baby in hopes of getting better quicker. Have a great day.

When You Want

When you want to do everything in the world that there is to do, it is hard to figure out where to begin. This is true with jewelry and other craft supplies. I enjoy making so many different things that where do I begin for my next batch of supplies? I spent 130 at the beginning of the month, and am busy making a wide variety of fun things. I want to use up a large portion of supplies before getting more. But I keep thinking about what to buy next and where to buy it and it is driving me crazy! Completely crazy. There are so many things I want to do and to work on doing and so many supplies, tools, and such out there. I just really don't know where to begin!

I suppose it doesn't matter, I have plenty to do for the time being and with that plenty to do I should get to work.

I have a few goals. I need to figure out how to accomplish all of them.

This is the idea:

Each week I want to...

Post six or more times on each of the following sites:
-1001 Things I Hate About Living With My Mom
-The Boring Recount of My Dull Life
-Zero 2 Six
-The Mommy 'n' Baby Page
-The Artisan Newstand
-The Large and Small
-A Little of Everything that Matters
-The Phat Diaries

I want to write 10 or more articles for Helium.
I want to post 3 or more times a week on MySpace.
I want to post 12 or more items in our Etsy store.
I want to make 6 or more new craft items (at this rate we will eventually have to lower the number of items posted each week.

Additionally I need to work with Falon of the Tower as I get the chance and as my husband gets some more writing done. That site needs major formating and I am still waiting on him to be able to do it.

The goal will be to continue making money with AdSense, Helium, and PayPerPost (and hopefully Etsy sooner rather then later!).

This however is a lot of work, while I continue to be a mom to a 15 month old, a wife, and a daughter (with mom living in the home). I have a huge habit of going out to eat and have been spending way way too much money doing so (I hate cooking), so with this thought in mind I want to limit going out to eat to once a week and Sunday breakfast. Which means I will be cooking more.

All of this should start next week, hopefully the websites will be formated and all I have to do is fly into the wind!

The More

The more you know, the better it will be. I don't know how true that statement is. But knowing and learning are very important for the future. If your child is struggling, behind, doesn't want to learn, or wants to get a head then a tutor is the way to go. Math Tutors are often not seen as important, especially by kids, but math is important and can open up a whole world of new opportunities. If math is an area your child needs help, then get help today.

Score Education Centers offer a wide variety of tutoring options, fit to your child's needs. They are a Kaplan owned business. Kaplan is always there for educational support and aids, it is nice to know that they offer a complete tutoring program. Everything from catching up to getting ahead can be found at Score. Most importantly though, Score offers your child the chance to learn to love learning!

One of Those Days

There are some days that having a fifteen month old son is fun. He is learning so much, and his laugh is a blast. Then there are days when it isn't so much fun having a fifteen month old son isn't so fun. Today is one of those last types of days. First of all he sleeps in our walk in closet because we have a two bedroom and my mom is currently living with us. So, he wakes us up a lot! Then there is the fact that we decided a long time ago to let him cry some things out which is never easy for a parent to do, but would make it so he would sleep better. With him in our closet that is impossible, five minutes of crying is way too much! Today he is very fussy in general though. Nothing seems to make him happy. Fuss, fuss, fuss and I pretty much think that it is because he slept horrible last night (woke up about every hour).

Any way, I certainly love him, I just wish he could go visit grandma on his fussy days :-P!

Struggling and Succeeding

Struggling is a horrible feeling. No matter what you are trying to accomplish if you are struggling to do so then it isn't any fun. Struggling to learn to read or having a hard time reading is a miserable feeling. Reading is such a huge part of school these days. You read the History books and the Math books and every step of the way reading is a part. If you have a hard time then the whole process becomes miserable and you hate reading and learning. If that changes, then you can learn to love both. It is much better for ones future to love reading and love learning.

But if your child (or mine) is struggling to read where do we turn for success? Where can we go to make sure that our child is succeeding? The answer is Score Education Centers. Here they have a wide variety of qualified programs to help make sure our children succeed in school. Reading Tutors are available to go over your child's needs and to help provide grounded one-on-one tutoring to take your struggling reader into a succeeding reader. Score Education Centers have a desire to help your child love to learn so that learning becomes an important part of your child's future and world!

This has been a sponsored post. Thank you for tuning in, come back soon, we love posting for you!

Neglect

I have been neglecting my blogs and websites. This is one of those multifaceted issues. The first being I am struggling to work while Marcus is awake and he hasn't been sleeping well. We borrowed the laptop in the hopes of fixing this. I figured I could work out in the dining room and watch Marcus play in the living room where it is larger, less crowded and more fun to play. But the laptop needs a new power converter and has died refusing to come back to life until we buy it a new one. Not that we want to do that right this second. Another of my problems I am ashamed to admit.

I grew up rather strict in a Christian background. My church was very much in favor of book burning and destroying materials they felt were not healthy. As such I read a book entitled Harry Potter and the Bible instead of reading Harry Potter. Harry Potter and the Bible had nothing good to say about the books believing that children were learning witchcraft from them and all that nonsense. Well, my husband decided he was going to read them, and then he wanted me to. Being a slow reader that doesn't have a lot of time to sit around reading it took forever to get through all seven books. But I was drawn in. Which meant that I was staying up later and having a hard time getting up when I should have. Last night I finished book seven, so that issue should be gone now :-D!

Lack of motivation and a large amount of frustration has also contributed. I keep waiting for my husband to have time to help me format the websites, and he hasn't. Plus it will take awhile and is dull work so he hasn't really had the desire to make it a priority. Which means I have been waiting almost a month now. This leads to frustration as does trying to do it myself because I always hit a huge roadblock where my knowledge of computers and such just isn't enough. Hopefully though, I can get him to help me or to teach me how to do it soon so that we no longer have this issue and the whole thing can be moving forward.

Anyway, Blogger doesn't need to be formatted, so I will try to get back to posting here at least once a day, five days a week so that those of you who do come and read my Boring Recount will at least have something new to read! If you haven't checked it out yet, I have a few items up in my Etsy store now! Check it out!

Facing the Truth

It is hard to face the truth, but when it comes down to it, the truth is that shopping is expensive. There really isn't any other way to put it and it really can't be disguised. The holidays are coming and that makes everything a little tighter. For me, I have a hundred and one reasons to cry about the holidays coming. Well, it might not be that bad. We missed everyone's birthday, so while Christmas is normally a draw a name out of a hat affair (though they haven't quite figured it out since we got married) we decided that we would be buying a small gift for everyone. My husband has eight brother and sisters, plus two living parents. One of his brothers recently got married. I have two brothers, both who live with women with children (not sure what we are going to do there), plus my mom wants me to get pictures of our son and mail them to everyone she has ever known for Christmas. Anyway, it is looking like it will be expensive. However, the tears can stop flowing today. You see, I love shopping online and here is a website that offers Coupon Codes to save money while doing what I love, and getting all of these Christmas presents. But that isn't what really excites me. I hate websites that aren't complete. There are a lot of coupon sites offering great deals to stores or products I would never buy. But this place is different. They have tons of stores I would shop at, everything from Gap coupons to Home Shopping Network deals. Well, not quite more like everything from 123InkJets coupons to Zappos deals! Anyway, their site has tons to offer, saves you lots of money, and is updated each day. Nothing could be better then that...unless they were giving things away :-D!

Thank you for tuning in, this has been a sponsored post. Stay tuned for other great posts coming your way, very soon!

Our Etsy Shop

Well if you haven't seen it, it is up and going!

What's up and going?

Our Etsy Shop!

Yesterday I got the first few items of the Etsy shop in place and today I am adding more. Of course I have lots more to add and if I keep making things (that's kinda the idea), then there will be more and more to add!

Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow

Yesterday's statistics looked great, we had a very nice amount of viewers here and at 1001 Things I Hate About Living With My Mom. I always feel really good when those numbers are going up, but it also means that I have been working hard making sure there was something for them to read. I have slacked off a lot with the websites and hopefully we will start getting those formated and up and running this week through to this weekend.

We borrowed a laptop from my in-laws which is making it amazingly easy to work with the baby. He does much better moving back and forth from playing here in the bedroom to playing out in the living room.

We also borrowed a camera, which means Etsy has begun for us. Check us out regularly at http://kbt2011.etsy.com! As soon as I have more items in the shop I will be building a widget to place here and there...hopefully we have a wide variety of things that interests people. I know I love making jewelry and to start earning money from it would be a dream come true. I also have some scrapbooking supplies in mind (home made paper sheets to add flair to a scrapbook page, wire words, ribbon words, that sort of thing). I have also started making cards (though I am a long way away from having a good supply of these, they are even harder to make then jewelry when Marcus is awake).

Today, I am working hard on listing lots of stuff and moving forward with a variety of things. I have been writing a lot for Helium lately, and since I am making the most money from jewelry related articles I thought I would increase the number of those that I have on there (here are a few examples: Memory wire, chokers, and leather jewelry).

PayPerPost
is going fairly well, and I am starting to feel very successful there, though it doesn't look like it will be a million dollar maker, it will be a good income once I get going full blast. Right now I am making about 120-150 a month from it. I think it has about 1k earning potential for a month. That is once it is built up and has several blogs, all of which takes time. I am very excited to see what it looks like this time next year!

I was going to say something else, but I don't remember what...so with that thought in mind, I hope you have a great day (check out Etsy and particularly my shop, please :-D)!

When Nothing Has Worked

When nothing has worked, there becomes a desperation. There is a hope that something will work, if only...

This is often the feeling of those who struggle with their weight. Those who really truly want to loose weight, get healthy, and feel good. They try exercise programs and diets, and this and that, and feel discouraged. Sometimes they have a mild break through and feel good about it only to gain the weight back (sometimes with an extra twenty pounds here or five there). Sometimes their work pays off and they find something that works for them. However, if you struggle and nothing has worked, you are not alone.

But you don't have to continue living a stressful existence in a search for your answer. You can find the answer with the help of your doctor. Weight loss surgery maybe for you. There have been a number of surgical break throughs in weight loss surgeries in the past decade. Some have significant risk, others, like lap band surgery are more safe and can bring you into a new lifestyle. The weight loss surgery is the first step to a new lifestyle and a thinner you. With lap band surgery a band is placed around the top of the stomach to help control hunger, to help tell your brain you are full. This can be very helpful in weight loss. It can help stop binging. However, this is a lifestyle change. The surgery, while having less risks then other weight loss surgeries, can not be successful without a commitment to change and to getting healthy.

If you are ready to change, and ready for help doing so, talk to your doctor about your choices and ask about lap band surgery. JourneyLite can also help you in figuring out if the surgery is right for you.

This has been a sponsored post. The author takes no responsibility for your choices in choosing surgery over other weight loss program. While JourneyLite is a great place to start, talking with your doctor is very important and should be done whenever considering surgery. Thank you for tuning in, have a great day!

Trying

I am trying to get back into a much more productive schedule. A few weeks ago I was doing very well getting up early and getting so much done before the baby woke up for the day. It was great. I got writing done left and right. Then I was just tired. I felt tired for weeks. Lately I have been having a hard time getting to sleep and staying asleep (I checked out a book called Sleeping Better from the library, I really should read it), but I haven't been feeling rested at all. I don't feel rested right now (went to bed at 12:30 and got up at 4:30). I am in need of getting some work done. Getting a lot of work done. With that in mind, I am here working hard even though I am tired. It is getting work done that will bring me to new heights.

Today I am hoping to put my first item up on Etsy. I hope you are all as excited as I am. I am very very excited. I have been working hard on getting everything organized (which certainly isn't easy for someone as messy as me!). I borrowed a digital camera (my PayPerPost money will pay for me to buy one at the end of this week, but that means it will be awhile before I hold it in my hands since we will be saving a bundle buying it from eBay, but then we have to wait for shipping). So, I should be taking photos and getting us up and running today. I still have a lot of work that I would like to do. Business cards, tags, a banner for the top of the web page on Etsy, a picture to upload to my profile there, so much to do and so little time to do it in. If only we could have thirty two hours to a day, then there would be time for this and time for that and time for sleeping!

Plus today is a day I have to run my mom around. That is always fun. And she feels like she is in need of forty dollars worth of candy from Walmart (yep she is gaining weight for a reason).

Anyway...busy busy busy...will you take a minute from your busy life to visit Etsy for me? Better wait till after today, but here is the link http://kbt2011.etsy.com

Paintball Wars...

I grew up in an anti-violence house. We weren't allowed to have toy guns. We weren't even allowed to make toys into pretend guns, or build our own guns. It just wasn't allowed. As we grew up my mom grew very lax, but I didn't. I held tight to the belief that is was wrong. Until my brother and I first got a hold of paintball guns. It was fun. Amazingly fun. Oh, I wasn't any good and being a little too timid to get out there and play paintball wars with the guys I never did do any battle. But it was fun. Even today I wish that I could get all camouflaged up with the guys and go to woods where they would play. It was only how brutal they got the kept me from it. Of course, I probably should have done what any brave girl could do and started my own girls group.

But enough about me and my past. Paintball can be a great game and one that is exciting to get involved in. Paintball equipment can be a complicated thing to get involved in though. Which paintball gun to get, what protective gear to buy, how much to spend. These are all decisions you can make. Of course finding the best place to buy them is even better. Somewhere where prices are great and supplies are plentiful. Somewhere where you can get a wide variety of choices, such as: Tippmann, Spyder, Smart Parts, Dye, Draxxus, and many other brands. Of course, there is such a place. Ultimate Paintball Guns exists to service all your needs. They have everything, guns, complete sets, paintball safety gear, upgrades, and so much more!

Paintball isn't just for kids! It isn't just for violent people, or the "guys". It is time to break free, have some fun, and spend a little money for so much enjoyment!

This has been a sponsored post, brought to you by Ultimate Paintball the place for all your paintball needs (whether you have been paintballing for years or think you might just want to start). Thanks for tuning in and have a great day!

I Can't Complain...

I must admit that life is good. I can't really truly complain (though I do about issues with my mom :-P). My husband is working too much, but that is because I like it best when he works at my side. I am enjoying so many things. Last night I got to buy whatever beads I wanted (I spent 140 dollars on beads and beading supplies!). It was wonderful. We borrowed a camera from the neighbor, so hopefully starting Monday you should see the first of my jewelry! All you have to do is go to http://kbt2011.etsy.com ! I am very excited about this step. If I could only make enough money with this and that and the other thing...life would be grand, hubby would be working on books and crafts with me...

But...that is the future.

I must say that this time in my life I am feeling that the biggest things are certainly ahead and that they will indeed be huge!

PayPerPost is still going well...in fact it is slowly growing larger and larger (for me). I have now made 200 dollars in seven weeks. Not anything to live off of, but a good start.

I continue to write on Helium, which is still making just pennies. August made 1.31 and September made 2.38. So, it is growing. So far this month I have made 40 cents. It seems to be doing better and better everyday.

The websites haven't been going so well. I got really down because they really need to be formated something I don't know how to do, but my husband does. Well he has been working too much to help me. So, hopefully tomorrow we can get that done and start working towards growing out online empire! This is the point where I wish I had an evil sinister take over the world kind of laugh, but of course I don't. Well...I am going to do a paid post, then off to bed, we have church tomorrow and I have such a hard time getting up and getting everyone ready :-P.

Have a great one, talk to you soon.

Thinking Ahead

I am thinking ahead to the future. Today it may seem like a long way away before Marcus needs tutoring, but in reality time flys. It seems like just yesterday when I was pregnant and now he is going on fifteen months. Soon he will need to be learning and I would like him to be ahead of his age group. This is something that can easily happen with the help of an Innovative Tutor. An innovative tutor can help a child catch up, and/or get ahead. Of course there is definitely something to be said about Score. Score is a Kaplan owned Education Center. Now for those of you who know the Kaplan name, I need say no more, but for those of you who are not familiar, Kaplan is a company who seeks to help others with their educations and their testing. They have study programs geared to help high school students and college students with a wide variety of tests and subjects. Additionally they have Score which can help your child (and mine in just a few years)!

This has been a sponsored post, thank you for tunning in and have a great night!

The In-Laws

Trips to the in-laws are never as short as they are supposed to be. Today we were going there for a quick trip in and a quick trip out. Yep, get the laptop, get the van and we are off. Does it work like that? No. First there is the chit chat. Then there is the, wait the van has no gas (well we have to be thankful for that one since we have no money to put gas in the van till Friday, but we need to go places tomorrow). Then there is the, will you set the sprinkler system please. Well after it is all said and done. Two and a half hours! Yep, and not everyone was there. Only four of nine in-laws who live in Texas were there today. That's it. Less then half the normal crew and it still took forever to get in and out.

Normally I enjoy going to the in-laws. In fact I can't wait to make things with all the girls. And then there are rousing games to be played. However, quick trips just don't seem to happen.

Holiday Cheer

There is no denying it now. The holidays are just around the corner, bearing down upon us faster and faster. It means (at least for most of us), that we must do some major shopping, that we must spend extra money, and in many cases max out the credit cards. But there is something to lighten the burden and make the shopping experience much more enjoyable, CouponChief is here! CouponChief has a wide variety of online coupons available from a wide variety of stores and a wide variety of items. They have everything from A&E Television Coupons to Zones Coupons and everything in between. All the stores you normally shop at Amazon, Target, Old Navy, you name it they probably have it. But the even better thing is it isn't just a Christmas shopping type of site! It is here for your savings all year around. So, next mother's day, and your aunt's birthday, and every shopping need in between (like that book you want to buy or that great dress!) can all be gotten with these great coupons!

Today

I have spent a good portion of the day making jewelry. It makes me feel very good. I love how creative I can get and how each piece is different. I can't way to show you, of course that requires a camera. I have been dying for one of those since we lost access to the one we had before. That was the one where the battery charger got lost with FedEx when we shipped it all down. But anyway...soon...soon you will be able to see my stuff and soon you will be able to even buy it if you like it! I am definitely excited about that.

Well, other then creating today, I have been working hard keeping the baby clean. Yep today has been one of those multiple bath kind of days. Now he is in need of clean clothes so that we can go out. But than some days are just like that.

Well...hoping to get dinner...and we have to go by my in-laws...

Insurance Brokers

I always thought of insurance brokers in that disgusting category with car salesmen and door to door vacuum cleaner salesmen. You know the type, the ones that try to push you into spending more then you can afford and getting something you don't really need. The kind of person who works hard not to take no for an answer. Then my husband met an insurance broker while working as a Schwan man. She was nice and friendly so when it was time for us to get insurance that is where we went. Of course, she amazed me. She has been wonderful and we recommend her highly to anyone who will listen.

Finding an insurance company isn't the easiest thing to do anymore. Sure there are commercials that say, "we are the best" but that isn't usually true. Insurance brokers can be the answer, providing you with free insurance quotes, and a person behind the insurance. After all insurance is very important. Car insurance is required by most states (if not all) and it can be a confusing game. We recently got renters insurance which has given us a peace of mind, after all if something does happen we have emergency money for temporary housing as well as a nice sum of money to replace the things that we have lost. Homeowners insurance falls into the same category of peace of mind.

If you need to get new insurance, add on to your insurance, or would just like to see if you are getting a decent rate then check out the insurance quotes provided here. After all, insurance is one of the most important things a person needs.

This has been a sponsored post, thanks for tuning in, we will be returning to our regularly scheduled programming soon...Have a great day!

Beads Galore

I am definitely going crazy with beads galore. I have been having a blast creating new pieces for my Etsy shop (as soon as I get a camera then I can start putting stuff up!). I am really hoping that this does well, that we sell some stuff on Etsy and make a little money. I am not crazy thinking we need to make millions (although I am certainly not going to complain if we do). I would love for my husband to be able to quit his job. I think that both of us are the types who would do well staying at home and working with each other. We are really hoping that we can do that by 2011. Freedom.

It sounds so sweet. Time will tell. Till then he works, I make stuff, write, pray, and of course spend a great deal of time with my son. I love spending time with him most of the time. It is those times that he is fussy and no matter what isn't happy. I think the biggest problem is that he loves to go and we are stuck here most of the time. He was fussy yesterday till we went shopping. Then he was delighted. He just loves being out and about and meeting people. He loves talking to everyone (though it is more having everyone talk at him).

I must say, this might be a very bad post. I am beat. Just made a necklace, bracelet, and earrings. Now I am waiting till I can give the baby his morning bottle and then go back to sleep for a couple of hours. If he gets a bottle at seven thirty he will sleep till nine thirty to ten thirty though usually just nine thirty. If he doesn't get that bottle at seven thirty he wakes up made at eight and is up for the day. So, I try to get him a bottle when he starts whimpering at seven thirty. Of course, with how I am feeling right now (went to bed at 12 got up at 4:30) sleeping from seven thirty to nine thirty isn't going to be enough! :-P

Well, anyway...I am off...have a good one!

Garage Storage

Storage in a garage is rather important. It is the first step to staying organized, and it can increase the amount of storage your whole house has. It is an important thing to have plenty of places to put items and it often seems like there aren't enough places. But, garage storage cabinets can be hard to pick out. There are so many different types and each has it's own advantage.

I was recently asked which type I would prefer. Well, I must say, we hope to one day have a fantastic shop in our garage. This means that the options that I would want would have to be really strong. When putting together a shop, price wouldn't be the biggest issue, so cost isn't the primary concern. Of course whether the items were functional and easy to use, and whether they could be adapted well to include the workbench and other items we would want to have would be an issue. I would have to say I really like this 15 piece set that includes a variety of cabinets as well as a nice workbench.

This website has it all...what would your dream set be? Have a look, check it out, and share (and of course shop! since making dreams come true is what life is about).

This has been a sponsored post...thank you for tuning in...till next time...have a good one.

Trying Hard...

Well, last night I couldn't sleep, so rather then lay there and toss and turn, I got up and did something (made a beautiful necklace that will be on Etsy as soon as I get a camera). I was up till about one thirty. So, now it is five in the morning and I am trying to make sure that I get something done today. I haven't gotten enough done lately (too much sleeping at prime productive times). I want to make sure that each blog gets a post as well as each web site.

Traffic has dropped some. I am not sure exactly why that is, though I haven't been posting as much or as frequently as I was there for awhile. I am just needing to get it all back on a tighter schedule and make sure that it is getting done.

Of course, I am still hoping for a day or two off in the coming weeks. I would love to send Marcus to his grandparents house on Tuesdays so that I can get a lot done.

Oh, and for those of you who know the mistake I made, I got fired from my dog walking duties (and boy oh boy am I happy about that one!).

Well, I am off to spend a few with my hubby before he leaves for the day. Hopefully I will post something more substantial later, but I am just not sure how to make it all work...

Tired, Sore, but oh so Excited

Many am I tired. Very very tired, like from somewhere deep inside of me. I slept fairly late getting up at about nine (which means that I had a decent amount of sleep, 11-4:30 then 5:30-9). Yesterday I went to work with my husband, which has left me sore.

But, are you ready for this, I am so so excited. You see we have decided to try and sell our stuff on Etsy in about a month. So, I am thinking up ideas of things that I want to make and working hard to get those ideas out and about so that we will have lots of stuff to put up when the time comes. We still need a camera first, but I am very close to having that paid for with my PayPerPost money!

Okay, this blog has now been added to PayPerPost. That means throughout this next week I will be adding paid posts (ads) to this blog. Don't worry, this is in addition to making real posts about real things. Not just instead.

I hope to hear from you and certainly hope you'll be back. Tomorrow I will be getting up at four thirty so I should have more time to spend writing, the baby makes it hard when he is awake. :-P
